Lot Description  



An interesting mix of signed relics hits the block, with this sports and military signed letter and photo lot of (4). Each individually certified, these vintage items are autographed by America's leading WWI flying ace, a standout from the 1927 NY Yankees "Murderer's Row" lineup, a commanding Naval officer and the top sports agent of pre-WWII era. All are crisp, clean items with abundant display appeal and moderate age-appropriate wear.


Featured are:


7/28/69 Typed letter signed by Medal of Honor winner Eddie Rickenbacker ("8-9", d.1974). Comes with the original mailing envelope and a full photo LOA from JSA. 


1927 Yankees outfielder Bob Meusel signed ("8", d.1977) and personalized 8x10 photo. Comes with full photo LOA from JSA.


Sports agent Christy Walsh signed ("9-10", d.1955) and personalized 8x10 photo. Comes with full photo LOA from JSA. 

 

Rear Admiral James C. Dempsey  6/16/69 typed letter signed ("9", d.1979) on Commandant Fifth Naval District, Commander, Naval Base, Norfolk, Virginia 23511 letterhead. Comes with JSA basic cert/sticker.
