The 1960s really was a golden age for television. Nearly every American home had a TV by then and the folks behind the scenes went all out in producing a wave of creative shows. Every night families could tune into something fantastic, including nose twitching witches, millionaire hillbillies, stranded castaways, POWs running their prison camp and so many more delightful series. Super-spies and super-heroes also found a home on the airwaves and two of the more memorable shows are represented here, with this 1966 Topps non-sport set lot of (2).

1966 Topps "Get Smart" near set of (65/66). The brain-child of comedic masterminds Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, this hilarious spy spoof rose up the ratings chart thanks to spot-on performances by funny man Don Adams as the bumbling "Agent 86 Maxwell Smart" and the alluring Barbara Feldon as his much smarter sidekick "Agent 99". This handsome near set is comprised of (43) intact 2-card panels, for a total of (86) cards. Lacking only an example of card #18 for completion, these sharp panels present in a very desirable condition range of (70% NM to NM-MT, 30% EX to EX-MT). 


1966 Topps "Batman - Red Bat" complete set of (44/44). One of the main merchandising issues related to the Batman TV series that had kids tuning in at the "Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel" week after week, this colorful series features fantastic illustrations of caped crusaders Batman and Robin, along with a host of memorable villains. Condition ranges as (70% EX to EX-MT+, 30% VG to VG-EX).
