Graded Authentic by SGC due to a perimeter modification. This centered portrait of the young slugger presents quite well with only moderate left edge scuffing and lower right creasing apart from Mantle's "pearly whites" as significant condition factors. The blue-and-red text reverse exhibits bold advertising/biographical type. Compare the scant population of this early #7 to the whopping quantities of the mainstream issues and the overall value of this legend will be evident.
