Willie Mays: a lightly toned ONL White ball (grade “6”) signed on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint (“8-9” strength)

 

1946 Philadelphia Athletics Team-Signed Ball: an off-white unofficial ball (grade “7”) signed in black-ink steel tip fountain pen (average “7” strength) by: Sweet Spot: Mack (clubhouse); North Panel: Simmons (clubhouse), Christopher, McQuinn, Valo, Harris, Grimes, Flores and Fagen; South Panel: Derry (clubhouse), Majeski (clubhouse), Knerr (clubhouse), Handley (clubhouse), Marchildon (clubhouse), Griffeth (clubhouse), McCoskey (clubhouse) and Brucker (clubhouse); West Panel: Keefe, Rosar, Fowler, Suder and Desaultels; East Panel: Stainback, Hall, Savage, Chapman and Caulfield. Accompanying is a full photo LOA from JSA.

 

1956 Boston Red Sox Team-Signed Ball: a medium-toned ball (grade “4”) with multiple surface abrasions, signed in blue ink (average “4-5” strength) by: Sweet Spot: Williams (clubhouse) and Higgins (clubhouse); North Panel: Porterfield, Goodman, Vernon, Klaus, Parnell, unidentified and Delock; South Panel: Lepcio, Zauchin, Stephens, Dorish, Gernert and White; West Panel: Piersall, Baker (coach), Daley, Bolling and (2) unidentified; East Panel: Brewer, Susce, (3) unidentified and Hurd.

 

1957 Detroit Tigers Team-Signed Ball: a medium-toned ball (grade “3”) with multiple surface abrasions, signed in blue ink (average “6-7” strength) by: Sweet Spot: Tighe (manager) and Hitchcock (coach); North Panel: Lund (coach), Bolling, Bunning, Daniel, House, Boros, Samford and Maxwell; South Panel: Byrd, Finigan, Groth, Thomas, Stump, Bertoia and Hoeft; West Panel: Presko, Boone, Maas, Porter and Kuenn; East Panel: Foytack, unidentified, Wilson, Philley, Tuttle, Lary, Shaw and Hudlin; Reverse Sweet Spot: Kaline.
