Hall of Fame hurler Vic Willis takes the spotlight with this antique cabinet photo. This large format photo has an image area of 9-1/2 x 7-1/2" and overall backerboard dimensions of 14x12. While the perimeter of the backer is affected by light to moderate chipping, this condition is relatively modest for a photo of this type and age, as large format cabinet photos typically have not held up well. Impressed in the backerboard at bottom right is the photographer's credit "F.P. McCabe, Pittsburgh, PA" and the reverse is stamped with the credit "F.P. McCabe Photographer, 115 Oakland Ave, Pittsburgh, PA".

The image area reports in excellent shape, with the only blemish being a very small pen notation of an "X" and the word "Pop" below a uniformed player standing next to the seated Willis, who is positioned near the center of a large group shot. Also recognized is pitcher Nick Maddox, as the first uniformed player at the extreme right. Three other uniformed players are noted, including one seated to the left of Maddox and two standing at left of center.
