Steel City teammates for 14 productive seasons, Paul and Lloyd Waner powered the Pirates and struck fear in opponents. An Ebbets Field patron once referred to them (in his distinct Brooklynese) as “Big Person and Little Person,” which, of course, translated to “Big Poison and Little Poison.” The lone brother combination to be enshrined in Cooperstown, both have rendered cut signatures in this dual display. Each is matted to 6-1/4 x 11-1/4”. Paul Waner’s graphite pencil scripting shows (“8-9”) strength and clarity, while Lloyd Waner’s blue ink penning projects (“9”) quality with a “Regards” inscription. Each display is accented by a Perez-Steele Postcard. Auction LOA from JSA
