The site of the most rabid fans in sports, Philadelphia’s Veterans Stadium was also home to one of the most prolific home run hitters and classiest players in big league history. Spared from the since-razed venue, this chair celebrates both! Measuring 22-1/4 x 33-1/8”, the metallic frame secures a textured plastic seat and a backrest panel, as well as two armrest panels. On the backrest panel, Mike Schmidt has signed in black marker (“9” strength). The chair shows tremendous use with chipping throughout the coat of blue paint (especially on the seat portion, where a previous coat of red is visible). Additionally, there is minimal rust about the metallic components. Accompanying is a hologram from MLB Authentications, attesting to the chair’s Veterans Stadium origin, as well as a hologram from Steiner Sports.
