Lot Description  



Williams rightfully occupies prime sweet-spot real estate on all three balls, though the third example is a facsimile signature as noted below.

 

1946 AL Champs: Shellacked, medium-toned "Harwood Official League" ball, 20 "7" signatures (a few lighter) w/Williams, Doerr, Hughson, Dobson, M. Harris, Higgins, Pesky, York, D. DiMaggio, H. Wagner, Ferriss, Ryba, Lazor, C. Wagner. Full LOA from JSA.

 

1940s: Creamy-toned "State League" ball, 11 "7-8" signatures w/Williams, Doerr (clubhouse), Pesky, Moses, Ferriss, Galehouse, Earl Toolson, Mickey Harris (clubhouse), Stan Spence (clubhouse), D. DiMaggio (clubhouse), Stephens.

 

1949: Shellacked, medium-toned "Red Sox" ball, 24 "6-7" signatures w/Williams (stamped), McCarthy, O'Neill, Masterson, Zarilla, Dropo, Parnell, Goodman, Tebbetts, Dobson, D. DiMaggio, Doerr, Pesky, Stephens, McDermott, Rosar, Stringer, Vollmer, Kinder, Pesky.
