One of the more well-known issuers of tobacco cards, the Piedmont brand is celebrated in grand fashion with a decorative blue enamel seat back panel with white lettering, that reads “For Cigarettes Virginia Tobacco is the Best, Piedmont, The Virginia Cigarette” on both the front and back. This smoothly functioning folding chair displays in pleasing condition with relatively moderate wear given its considerable age. Two of the seat slats are loose but readily contained by the framework and the enamel paint is vivid.
