The super-hero comic book genre rocketed to popularity in the 1940s, but then suffered a letdown in the 1950s. In a consolidation effort, the “World’s Finest Comics” series trimmed down to a single story per issue, teaming Batman and Superman for the first time with the July, 1954 #71 issue. Throughout the next sixty-plus years, these two comic book titans have led countless DC heroes through a variety of titles and adventures, including a couple of recent blockbuster films that were greatly enhanced by the presence of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. A multitude of adventures featuring Batman and Superman as co-stars are bundled with this collection of (185) all different World’s Finest Comics issues. Dating from 1961-1985, these pleasing comics report in overall better to excellent condition.
