The black-and-white portrait of the Ohio native is framed by a gilt bat-and-ball motif. The baseball diamond setting displays only incidental corner/edge wear including wrinkling near the lower right corner. Post cancellation marks trace to the right of the player's image. Interestingly, an advertisement for a New York confectioner is printed on the reverse. Stray notations and post markings do not seriously impact this relic's overall presentation.
