Graded 60 EX 5 by SGC. Type specialists will treasure the offered 1910-12 Plow Boy Cabinets Ginger Beaumont. Produced by Spaulding & Merrick Co. of Chicago over three seasons, these approximately 5-3/4 x 8" antiquities are among the scarcest premiums of the era. Of the 82 total specimens from the issue judged by SGC, only eight have reached the 60 EX 5 tier with none better. Regarding Beaumont, this Cubbie survives as the highest of only two examples validated by the grading service. The sepia-toned photo portrays Beaumont in an early ballpark setting. The oversized prize displays only superficial perimeter wear and is crease-free. The advertising reverse identifying the tobacco product is accentuated by pitch black text. An age induced toning strip along the bottom of the reverse does not impact the overall presentation.
