Back to back World Series participants and 1935 champions, the Detroit Tigers were honored by the Detroit Free Press with this colorful set of (18) M120 premiums. This power packed Tigers squad boasted a quartet of HOF sluggers who led the club to a team record 101 victories in 1934, followed up by the franchise’s first ever World Series title in 1935. Measuring 9x11, these vibrant portraits are printed with bold colors and nicely composed images befitting of hometown hero status. These captivating collectibles show average VG to EX details with deference to album tab remnants on the corners of all, a condition which does not affect the image/color areas. Highlights are HOFers: Mickey Cochrane, Charlie Gehringer, “Goose” Goslin, Hank Greenberg. Also present are: Elden Walker, Tommy Bridges, “Flea” Clifton, “General” Crowder, Pete Fox, Ray Hayworth, “Chief” Hogsett, Marv Owen, Billy Rogell, “Schoolboy” Rowe, Vic Sorrell, Joe Sullivan, Gerald Walker, “Jo Jo” White.
