For more than a half-century, Nate Fine captured the essence of Washington Redskins football as the franchise’s photographer. Mr. Fine covered every game (with the exception of a 1944 exhibition) from 1937 through 1987 and shot D.C. gridiron icons in both the trenches and in various other settings. Presented is a (400+) 1940s-1960s archive relating to the influential photojournalist. Included are (4) albums with various artifacts relating to Fine’s life and times affixed inside. Included are numerous and mixed items including airline passes, letters, newspaper clippings, photographs (various dimensions), pins, press passes, program covers and many additional sundry trinkets. Being that these keepsakes are adhered to the album pages, the conditions of the reverses are unknown.
