Poosh 'Em Up Tony! Signature assessed as Authentic and encapsulated by SGC. Extremely scarce 1927 Baseball Exhibits Tony Lazzeri that was penned by the Hall of Famer in the decades between the card's issue and his untimely passing in 1946. This Murderers' Row era relic portrays Lazzeri unleashing a wicked swing as an integral cog to the Yankees offensive machine. The crisp black steel-tip fountain pen endorsement presents a strong ("8") while the obverse presents (VG) with deference to two strips of glue residue on the reverse. Signed pre-war trading cards of Hall of Famers such as Lazzeri are quite difficult. Add to the fact that he passed away over 67 years ago and the desirability escalates.
