Dated September 30, 1956 Ty Cobb and Stan Musial dual-signed OAL Harridge baseball signed at an event for Little Leaguers. As one of the finest scripts of the “Georgia Peach” extant, Cobb penned the east panel of the sphere with a black steel-tip fountain pen. With deference to a minor spot of toning on Cobb’s stately paraph, the intricately placed script presents a resounding (“9-10”) in execution. Additionally, Stan (The Man) Musial also inscribed the north panel in blue ink with the autograph presenting a crisp (“9”). Little League attendees also attended the function, however, their autographs do not interfere with the Hall of Famers’ signatures.
