From the season in which Murderers’ Row unleashed its fury on opposing pitching staffs comes this magnificent 1927 Baseball Exhibits complete set of (64) cards highlighted by (4) SGC graded keys. Hallmarked by a sterling cast of (24) Hall of Famers, the offered edition is undoubtedly one of only a handful of complete series from the pre-war issue extant. With deference to nearly 60% of the cards displaying varying degrees of paper residue/loss from storage in a period album, the obverses still generally present nicely. The overall approximate condition breakdown judging on the fronts only is as follows: 20% (VG-EX or better), 30% (VG), 25% (GD) and 25% (FR or lesser) with nearly 10% displaying coloring marks.

The technical conditions of the keys is as follows: Hall of Famers: (24 cards) with Alexander (FR, reverse glue residue), Bancroft (FR, reverse glue residue), Bottoml(e)y (FR, reverse glue residue), Cobb (SGC 20), E. Collins (GD), Cuyler (GD), Gehrig (SGC 55), Gehringer (FR, reverse paper loss), Goslin (VG), Grimes (FR, reverse glue residue), Hartnett (FR, surface pen marks), Heilman (GD), Hornsby (VG), W. Johnson (SGC 50), Lazzeri (GD), Lindstrom (FR, reverse glue residue), Rixey (FR, reverse glue residue), Ruth (SGC 10, reverse writing and paper loss), Schalk (FR, reverse glue residue), Sisler (VG-EX), Southworth (VG), Speaker (PR, reverse paper loss), Traynor (FR, reverse glue residue) and Wheat (FR, reverse glue residue).
