With a history of punishing defenders and Steel City work ethic, the Pittsburgh Steelers are last in line for a kiss on the cheek. Unless, of course, we’re talking about the 1962-1964 bobblehead doll “kissing” pair. Rare survivors to begin with, these majorette and steel worker figurines maintain their Mint-In-Box qualities! The gold base collectibles are in their original retail box with cardboard inserts protecting their blemish-free jaw lines. The “lips” and “cheek” interior magnets remain, facilitating an endless smooch on this pristine pair! More on our website.
As is the case with the vast majority of majorette dolls, this example has flaking along the gold base, but a very minor instance when considering the flaws on other examples. Stellar condition is prevalent on this pairing. While most “player” examples featured uniformed examples with their eyes closed, the wide-eyed “Steel Worker” is clad in his work attire and hard hat (the Cleveland Browns “elf” bobblehead was the only other non-player type). Additionally, the majorette’s original feather remains intact.
