With a 7-3 record in Super Bowl play, and just about every career passing record to his credit, there’s not a whole lot you have to say about Tom Brady, except that he’s the best quarterback ever. Crown your collection, with this Brady single-signed 2017 game-used football. Brady earned his third MVP award in 2017, leading the New England Patriots to a 13-3 record that season. In the Playoffs, the Patriots breezed past the Titans, and made a nice 4th quarter comeback against the Jaguars. Though they were served a “Philly Special” in Super Bowl LII, Brady set a record by throwing for 500+ yards, in a 41-33 loss. All that history is magnificently remembered with this Brady signed gamer, which is a prime candidate for the focal point of an advanced collection.

Brady has signed this Official NFL game-used ball by means of a silver paint pen, and he has included his uniform number “12” inscription. Seen at the west tip of the signed panel is the number “135”. Located on the panel south of the Wilson branded panel, this prized autograph has been deemed a (“7”) strength example, as noted on the accompanying Letter of Authenticity. Above Brady’s signature, is the FCC ID, which the NFL introduced via Zebra Technologies during the very same 2017 season, to expand its data collecting program by means of an embedded RFID chip.

On the opposite side of the ball, we see the NFL shield logo, the ball type “The Duke”, and a facsimile signature of commissioner Roger Goodell. Seen on the panel below the NFL shield, are the Patriots team logo, and obscured team notations, including the identification number “66” on the west tip. Ample signs of authentic use include white transfer streaks from field contact, wear at the west point of the signed panel from Brady’s thumb, and general signs of attrition, which are moderate in degree.

This ball is reported as having been obtained directly from a member of the Patriots equipment management staff and has been privately held in the Foxborough area since the 2017 season. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA, with “7” grade specified; and letter of provenance for game use.    Opening Bid $1,500.
