Only SGC Graded! Graded POOR 1 by SGC. Who says new and exciting finds can no longer happen in the hobby?! This newly discovered 1910 Baltimore News Orioles Jim Egan is confirmed as the only SGC graded and the second of the player known to exist. Jack Dunn's backstop was in fact named Arthur "Ben" Egan and is noteworthy as Babe Ruth's first professional catcher. Although this "Charm City" masterpiece displays a combination of acute wear on front (including pin holes), the wear is largely apart from Egan's batting pose. Additionally, the 1910 Orioles Home/Abroad ledger on the back is only moderately soiled but still displays pitch black typeface. The population data for Egan is as follows: Total SGC Graded: 1; Total PSA Graded: 1 and Total SGC & PSA Graded from Set: 14. One of three 1910 Baltimore News Orioles being offered as separate lots in this auction. Opening Bid $1,000.
